Role - Private Client Paralegal

Location - Stratford (London)

Salary - £25k

We are seeking a skilled Private Client Paralegal to join our team in Stratford in handling a variety of legal matters related to wills, estate planning, probate, and trust administration. This is a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private client services, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting wills, trusts, lasting powers of attorneys, and other estate planning
  • Manage and organise client files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status
  • Prepare and file legal documents with the appropriate courts
  • Assist in the administration of trusts and probate estates
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:

  • You will need to have proven experience as a Private Client Paralegal with a strong understanding of wills, estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration.
  • Be proficient in legal research and document preparation.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software is desirable.
