Your Opportunity


On the Data and Analytics Apprenticeship programme, you'll learn all the fundamental skills you need to build your future career.

You'll gain knowledge across several technologies in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and Cloud computing.

As part of the Compliance Team, you'll help to develop and deliver their Data Transformation Strategy.

The team are responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to all parts of the UK business to help identify, mitigate and manage all types of regulatory risk.

These include Financial Crime, Data Protection and Privacy and Customer facing conduct risks.

Working on the continuous improvement of their processes, you'll be at the forefront of change to future-proof our business for our customers and our people.


What can I look forward to?
Being a Data and Analytics Apprentice, no two days will be the same. You'll have the opportunity to develop and use data to create innovative solutions with the latest technology.

To achieve this, you'll work closely with the wider Compliance function and liaise with internal management and external third parties when needed.

There will be a combination of in-house and external training, all tailored to your needs. This will consist of several modules including data and digital, data analysis and visualisation.

You'll learn from extremely talented and knowledgeable colleagues from across the Chief Data Office, who will support you in your apprenticeship journey.

Through the degree, you'll learn the theory behind the techniques you'll be using during your apprenticeship, studying over a 3-year period while you work.

What you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English
  • A professional attitude with a positive 'can do' approach to your work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build and develop strong relationships
  • Keen interest in data and digital technologies
  • Open to learning new skills through 'hands on' experience and classroom learning
