We are looking for an enthusiastic, high calibre engineer to support the company's portfolio of projects, working initially within the high-speed flight pillar.


They will also be required to carry out Systems Engineering and/or test related activities (e.g., requirements management, V&V, system design, build & integration plans, test procedures, commissioning and testing etc.) throughout the lifecycle of ReactionEngines' products.

They will also be required to contribute to the development of related tools, methods, and processes to improve our company-wide capability.


To be successful you'll need:

  • Engineering degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Strong skills using MATLAB and Simulink (proficiency in Python or C/C++ will also be considered)
  • Experience in signal processing and control system algorithm development
  • Knowledge of aerospace systems
  • Experience in design, development and testing of unique systems
  • Demonstrable approach to interdisciplinary problem solving and design tradeoffs (systems thinking)
  • Strong practical mindset and abilities

Salary:
£28,000 to £40,000, depending on experience

Working hours:
Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. (working a 9 day fortnight pattern - every other Friday off). Flexible working arrangements will be considered
