Key responsibilities as the Legal Secretary will include:
- First point of contact for clients, dealing with any queries or issues and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Maintaining partners' and associates' diaries
- Coordinating internal and external meetings
- Coordinating billing/credit control and accounting matters
- Producing legal documentation and correspondence
- Assisting with the preparation of court bundles
- Building good working knowledge of the legal areas of expertise you are supporting
- Assisting with marketing activities
- Building knowledge of files and matters to be able to support partners and associates in assisting clients
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a Team Assistant / Team Secretary role - Legal Secretary experience is beneficial
- Fast, accurate typing and accurate numeracy skills
- Highly organised nature with excellent attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including MS Office applications
- Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels professionally, confidentially and tactfully
- Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
- Proactive, professional and personable team player
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
