An innovative Community Drug and Alcohol Misuse Charity is seeking a dedicated Senior Substance Misuse Nurse to become part of their specialist clinic located in Sutton in Ashfield.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a keen interest in Substance Misuse treatment to join the leading provider in the UK in this sector. The Senior Substance Misuse Nurse will play a crucial role in delivering frontline clinical care at a busy detoxification clinic, with a focus on guiding service users through a comprehensive rehabilitation process.
Key Requirements:
It is advantageous (though not mandatory) for the Senior Substance Misuse Nurse to have skills and experience in areas such as vaccinations (including BBV screening), ECGs, alcohol and opiate detoxification, health promotion, and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will hold RGN or RMN qualifications, possess Band 7/management experience, demonstrate proficiency in clinical governance/audits, showcase titration experience, and maintain current NMC registration with the legal right to work in the UK.
