The Business Partnerships Office (BPO)in the Medical Sciences Division (MSD) is seeking to appoint a Business Partnerships Manager. Working with business has been highlighted as a growth area in the university's strategic plan and this position offers an excellent opportunity to develop an exciting career at the interface of academia, business and government. Opportunities will be facilitated for the post-holder to develop strong internal and external networks with a wide range of senior stakeholders engaged in biomedical research in order to connect Oxford's capabilities with business needs.

The ideal candidate will be highly scientifically literate, a fast learner with experience in external engagement and partnerships and combine strong relationship skills with a good technical knowledge of current themes in biomedical and translational health research to converse with experts in corporate, NHS and university environments.

This position is available immediately for a fixed term until 31 July 2025 in the first instance with the potential for renewal. In addition, a blend of working from home and on-site working will also be considered.

This is a full-time post, however part-time (minimum 0.8 FTE) would be considered.
