General Operative

Job Summary:
We operate nationwide within the Water and Waste construction industry and work to the highest of safety standards.

We are currently seeking a General operatives with CSCS experienced in construction, concreting and steel fixing an advantage to join our team.

As a General operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our organization.

You will live within South Yorkshire and shared transport will be provided to work within the UK from our base in Thurnscoe, Rotherham.

Wage will be discussed at interview and will be reviewed after three months.

This is a paid position with opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Work to Company H&S requirements including all RAMS.
  • Work will include steel fixing, shuttering and concreting as well as other general duties.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines
  • Perform general labor tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Holds a current UK Driving License.
  • Holds a CSCS card.
  • Requirement to have regular D+A Testing.
  • Previous experience of working in a construction teams is required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Available to start immediately
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
  • Lives within South Yorkshire and willing to work away Monday to Friday within the UK. Shared Transport will be provided. If working away a lodging allowance will be provided.

Pay:
£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
