Contract Type: Permanent, full time, Mon-Fri

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and valuable contribution to the company's business and strategic planning. As the Head of Management Services, you will lead and manage the Secretariat Services team, ensuring the efficient and high-standard delivery of secretariat services to our client's customers. Your overarching responsibility is to lead, inspire, motivate, and drive the client services team forward as well as provide day to day support with general administration, membership management, and executive/personal assistant services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and manage the performance of the Secretariat Services team, currently a team of 8.
  • Ensure seamless and professional interactions with clients and members of our client's organisation.
  • Continually review and develop their service offering in line with industry trends and ever-changing client needs.
  • Provide advice on constitutional matters and governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Support the on-boarding process for new clients and deliver a friendly and informative welcome.
  • Assist in business development by preparing bid and tender documents and delivering presentations.
  • Directly manage the delivery of client secretariat services.
  • Ensure the delivery of facilities management to our client's head office site.
  • To overview the membership services function and implement a new membership services system.
  • Manage our client's ISO9001 accreditation and ensure compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant proven experience as a motivational and inspirational leader
  • Proven ability to interact with executive-level personnel.
  • Supervisory/management experience of an administration or support team.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality administrative support and coordinating meetings.
  • In-depth understanding of secretariat services and roles.
  • Expertise in producing high-level meeting minutes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools.
  • Ideally, a relevant qualification in business administration or management.

Working Environment:

You will predominantly be based at our client's head office, with some travel required throughout the UK and potentially overseas. This role may require occasional work outside normal working hours.
