Warehouse/Security Person

Double Two, Britain's finest Shirtmaker was established in 1940 and continues to sell men's formal shirts and leisure wear in their stores. With their Head Office based in Wakefield, the Company is well known for the original design of the Double Collar & Cuff Shirt, back in the 1940's.

We are currently looking to recruit a person to join our team here at Wakefield. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional hours as required. Full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.


Hours of work are as follows; Start and finish times will be between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday however, you must be flexible with hours/start & finish times due to the nature of the role.

The successful applicant will carry out/be responsible for the following duties:

Initially the successful person will work within the warehouse picking and packing customer orders for delivery.

After successful completion of probation period (3 months) you may be required to learn about the security side of the business, locking and unlocking of the premises, intruder alarm activation and fire alarm testing.

Driving and completion of local delivery/pickups is also something that may be incorporated in to the role for the right person.


Warehouse
Picking customer orders for dispatch using handheld data terminals. Packing orders ready for dispatch.

Loading and unloading of large containers as required, manual handling of boxes weighing up to 25 kilos + any other ad hoc duties.


Security
Opening and closing of site/premises

Setting and Un-setting of alarm system

Respond to out of hours alarm activations - attending site/premises as required.

Driving Duties


Drive 3.5 Ton Van with capacity for 1 ton load long and short distances, manual loading and unloading of vehicle at one or both ends of journey.

Complete local deliveries, collections/drop offs/banking

Assist with set up and clearance of Exhibition materials.

Delivery/clearance of stock to Double TWO Shops as required.

Possession of the following would be an advantage
Full clean driving licence

Own vehicle (to attend out of hours alarm activation)

Previously key holder experience
