We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Telford Way location in Wakefield. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for picking and packing magazines and newspapers, scanning items, and ensuring the quality of packed orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing of magazines and newspapers
  • Scanning of magazines
  • Checking the quality of packed orders
  • Locating over-stocks and enabling efficient compilation of customer orders
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and tidy warehouse environment
  • Adhering to company procedures and policies
  • Unloading, loading, sorting, and scanning deliveries

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working to strict deadlines
  • Advantageous to have a FLT license
