Membership Administrator - Part Time hours per week.

Reports to:
Club Manager

Job Purpose:
To be part of the Reception team delivering a friendly, front of house welcome and organised, effective methods.

Above delivered by:

  • Creating an excellent first impression of the gym by providing a warm welcome, professional appearance and pleasant manner at all times. Plus saying goodbye to members and users of the gym as they exit.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience to all members, guests and users of the facility.
  • Selling and inputting membership sign ups and help current members with their membership queries using the Clubwise system.
  • Managing current memberships including courtesy calls, managing and telephoning memberships in arrears and recovering monies.
  • Upselling and providing information on products and services.
  • Registering prospective members and guiding them to the correct person.
  • Handling telephone enquiries, including calling prospective members, recording messages from incoming calls and transferring calls.
  • Recording and managing accurate records of all queries, feedback, lost property and maintenance issues.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, both behind and in front of the counter and some of the fitness areas.
  • Delivery of quality tours of the club.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of visitors, members and staff at all times and taking a responsible attitude towards maintaining the premises and facilities of the club including implementing area checklist sheets and open and close check sheets.
  • Undertake other duties of a similar professional nature at the request of the Club Manager.
