Job Description

We are working with an International law firm seeking a Data Protection Manager in their London office. The perfect candidate will have significant compliance experience in an international firm, focusing on GDPR and Data Protection. If this sounds intriguing and you want to develop your expertise or take the next step in your career, keep reading

To apply for this role, you ideally will have experience advising on data protection issues (UK and EU), managing projects, implementing change to processes/procedures and competency in assessing and updating policies.

Some key responsibilities:

  • Ensure that data transfer requirements are met
  • Carry out an audit of existing policies and procedures
  • Perform impact and risk assessments
  • Review and update policies and procedures where needed
  • Handling data subject requests
  • Uphold data authority registrations
  • Assess prospective data breaches
