OVERVIEW:

Join our fast-growing organization as we expand into new markets. We are currently looking for a Customs and Trade Compliance Manager to be part of our EMEA Operations team.

The role of Customs and Compliance Manager is crucial in ensuring that our international trade operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations. If you are a proactive individual who enjoys facing new challenges head-on, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Here are some key responsibilities you'll be handling:

  • Develop and maintain a robust customs compliance program for our EMEA business
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance framework
  • Keep abreast of changing customs regulations and communicate these effectively
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee customs clearance processes
  • Collaborate with global teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved efficiency
  • Provide training on customs documentation and procedures
  • Represent the company in discussions with customs authorities

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS):

  • Extensive knowledge of international customs processes and regulations
  • Practical experience in customs compliance and import tax valuation
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French proficiency is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
