About the Role

This is a key position within the Global Trade Compliance function at Rotork plc, focusing on continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with Customs and Export Control regulations.

Reporting to the Global Trade Compliance Manager, this role will support multiple complex operations and projects within the Global Trade Compliance Team, including reviewing Harmonised systems and Export Control Classifications worldwide, origin and preference status, and deployment of Free Trade Agreements.

This role requires a strong understanding of Trade Compliance subjects, including knowledge of HS and ECN classification worldwide, and prior experience with mass data review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Trade Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance with Customs and Export Control regulations
  • Review and analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and trends
  • Provide Trade Compliance expertise to the business worldwide
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Trade Compliance subjects, including HS and ECN classification worldwide
  • Prior experience with mass data review and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
