Protocol Education are currently looking to recruit teaching assistants in the Surrey area ASAP.

The school is based in Sunbury and are looking for two TA's.

One TA on a long term basis to support in their Nursery and a second TA to provide general support in different classes, where support is required.

  • Have an NVQ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience with working with children or young people
  • Be committed and passionate about working with children

Key Responsibilities:
- support pupil learning through the delivery of specific learning programmes, setting high expectations whilst encouraging their independence and building their confidence

  • Mentor students on a 1:1, planning and leading a series of booster and intervention sessions to tackle difficult topics.
  • Observe, record and feedback information of pupil performance.
  • Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher to assist in behaviour management and to support pupils in their learning objectives.
  • Promote inclusion, encouraging pupils to interact and work collaboratively
  • Adapt and develop resources for EAL and SEND pupils, ensuring their safety and enabling them to access the curriculum.
  • Assist in creating materials for curriculum delivery and display boards.


This will give you the opportunity to develop your career and gain a lot of valuable experience working in a range of different settings from one to one and in group settings.
