We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Independent Primary School. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and a commitment to providing high-quality education and care.
About the Role:
- Support students with SEND in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students with varying needs
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation, including adapting materials and resources for students with SEND
- Contribute to the development and implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a primary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)
