  • Spotify is looking for an outstanding Client Partner to join our Vertical team. We are looking for someone with a proven record of revenue generation working closely with the UK Government account and a deep interest and passion for digital media and innovation. We want someone who loves our product and knows how to create and sell strategic solutions to clients and partners. You should be confident while staying humble, work hard, and know how to have fun. What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships across the UK Government, media buying agency, media planning agencies, creative agencies and the relevant Government departments. Allowing us to better understand their communication goals and position Spotify as an invaluable partner in overcoming their strategic challenges.
  • Create a deep partnership alongside selling audio formats, video formats, display advertising, and other ad space in order to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and clients directly (including Programmatic).
  • Work across multiple agency and UK Government departments, i.e. buying, strategy, comms planning, radio, digital, programmatic, branded content, and innovation teams to deliver successful campaigns.
  • Coordinate with communications planning teams and strategic planners, client partners, and media buyers to create successful ad campaigns.
  • Focus on consultative selling, educating and inspiring our clients to use Spotify to enhance their business objectives.
  • Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals.
  • Maintain a high volume of inperson client engagement with both clients and agencies.
  • Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassador, communicating our core narratives and reinforcing the strong position Spotify holds in the marketplace.
  • Accurate forecasting, reporting daily and weekly and timely insights about your business and customers are vital.
  • The use of Salesforce is required as a primary method of managing your day to day business.
Who you are

  • You have 6 years + of commercial advertising experience at an agency or in a media/online sales role.
  • You will have a deep understanding of the UK Government's communication needs and have a broad and deep network across their agency roster
  • You have knowledge of online and offline media and have the ability to be creative with audio and digital client solutions.
  • You have strong negotiation skills, have the ability to consultatively sell, present effectively, and the resilience to chase down and close business.
  • You have the ability to build a pipeline and a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
  • You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem.
  • You are a team player, smart, adapt well to change, and have a positive attitude.
  • You are able to work in a fastpaced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver creative, fresh campaigns.
