If you're someone that has experience in the housing sector, has an appetite to learn, and thrives of building relationships, then this is an exciting opportunity to join our Affordable Housing business as a Contract & Performance Coordinator.


In this varied role you'll support the delivery of the outsourced housing management services ensuring that exemplary standards of service are received by L&G customers.

You will act as first point of contact for our network of Management Providers and Suppliers, answering a range of queries with support from internal colleagues, coordinate performance reporting cycles, and deliver robust contract administration in support of the operations team.


You'll have the opportunity to act as a contract expert supporting colleagues across the business to understand LGAHs outsourced services, and to ensure excellence is delivered consistently across our portfolio.

You will also ensure that Management Providers and Suppliers are responsive to our request for change, supporting them and us to integrate these into service delivery.


Finally, you'll act as an ambassador for the customer experience that the business intends to provide, working with colleagues and contractors to ensure it is delivered to customers nationwide.


What you'll be doing

  • Take the lead by acting as the first point of contact for all contract related issues across the network of Management Providers and Suppliers.
  • Support the Contract Management Team by coordinating performance and finance reporting and payment cycles, scheduling contract reviews, and ensuring that the schedule of returns are received from all providers, and that key deadlines are met.
  • Under direction from the Contract Management Team provide analysis and reporting on Management Provider performance, identifying risks where relevant, or highlighting areas of strong performance.
  • Coordinate the escalation of urgent and emergency issues in accordance with LGAH and Management Provider policies, directing them internally as required to ensure customers are served well at moments of real need.
  • Working closely with the Management Providers and the LGAH sales Team, Coordinate the Re-Sales and Staircasing approval process in accordance with the LGAH policy.
  • Manage the Invoicing and Purchase Order process for the Contract Management team for Suppliers and Management Providers.
  • Support the Management Providers and Suppliers in the use of LGAH's Housing Management System (Brolly). Using the platform to create and update reporting to assist with the management of performance.
  • Become a contract expert by developing your knowledge base so that you can support the Management Providers and wider LGAH team, both operationally and commercially, to understand obligations and risk profile.

Here's some of the experience that we'd love to see:

  • Previous experience working in the Housing sector (Affordable housing knowledge would be a bonus)
  • Strong relationship management experience with a solid understanding of the importance of building and maintaining relationships for the mutual benefit of both parties.
  • Interest in developing systems to support the business in the management of thirdparty providers.
  • Good level of ability with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • A good understanding of performance and KPI managements.
