Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure total familiarity with all appointment systems including regular and incidental variations such as EMIS clinical system Review, update and clear Gynae backlog with the General Manager supervision Book patient appointments and recalls ensuring sufficient information is recorded to enable retrieval of medical records Completion of data log entries on excel spreadsheets Typing of patient clinical and appointment letters Dealing with patient queries Preparing clinic administration paperwork for clinicians Creating hospital referrals using eRS An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality Supporting day-to-day admin requirements of various clinics, e.g.
gynae and phlebotomy which includes telephoning and writing to patients, booking patients into clinics, liaising with general practices (GP) and hospital staff regarding tests and reports.
Establish and maintain communication with clinicians and other staff members about routine and daily activities.
