About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Companion to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, and assist with light housekeeping.
  • Engage in activities that promote mental and physical well-being, such as exercise, hobbies, and social interaction.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to our office team.

Requirements

  • A caring and compassionate personality, with a strong desire to support others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Access to a car and business class one insurance.
