This is a fantastic opportunity for you, a Contract IT Administrator / IT Support Engineer / 2nd Line Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer, to join a world leading company based in High Wycombe.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Operations

  • Monitoring of helpdesk tickets and managing escalations to required IT teams or 3rd parties
  • General 1st/2nd line helpdesk support
  • General user account administration on various systems
  • Basic PC imaging and profile setup for new computers
  • Basic software installations and deployment to PC's
  • Mobile phone administration
  • Maintaining accuracy of records in Active Directory
  • Recording purchased licensing details

Experience, knowledge & Qualifications:

  • College diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems
  • Knowledge and experience of Windows PC's and Operating Systems
  • PC troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of ManageEngine, McAfee, Cylance would be advantageous

About you:

  • Be able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical and problemsolving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
  • Experience working in a teamoriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong customerservice orientation.
