About this role:
- We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Birmingham as an Administrator.
- You will assist with the day to day administration for the team, and provide support to senior colleagues dealing with various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the team.
Key responsibilities:
- General administration duties to include:
- Primarily focused on order entry of deals for the portfolio management team
- Ensuring deals are checked on a daily basis
- Assisting in rebalancing of portfolios on a monthly basis
- ISA subscriptions and transfers
- Assisting the senior administrator with daily monitoring of the inbox
- Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts
- Moving work into the workflow
- General record keeping and electronic filing
- Adhering to Conduct Risk standards
- Good understanding of excel including macros.
Qualifications and experience:
- Previous administration experience is essential additional training will be provided. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.
- Ability to type preferred but not essential Skills:
- Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks.
- Clear and concise communication skills oral and written, with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Takes accountability for own work, with ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales
- Able to prioritise workload and identify when they need support to achieve goals.
- Flexible and reliable team member and willing to support more junior and senior members of the team as required.
