We are on the search for an enthusiastic Master Data Lead based in Leicestershire to join one of the UK's leading food production companies looking to strengthen its growing technology team

The business produces some of the UK's most recognisable brands and employs over 10,000 people nationwide. They remain a family business that take great pride in their products, their people and their values.

You will play a key role in supporting Supply Chain and Planning systems within the business, developing their existing business systems, mitigating business risk and maintaining supplier and customer service throughout.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Supply chain systems are maintained, and any incidents are diagnosed and resolved in a timely manner (Evolve/AX/Excel spreadsheets & Bi Reports).
  • Take ownership for major or complex issues and manage through to resolution, liaising with Group IT and external IT system providers.
  • Set up new suppliers, customers and Depots within Evolve.
  • Maintenance of Items within Microsoft AX – item setup, BOM maintenance, pricing of items and finished goods.
  • Communicate and manage all IT downtime and system upgrades on site, and provide advice and guidance as necessary.
  • Responsible for sharing best practices and keeping up to date with the latest developments from around the group, industry and our software vendors.

What you need:

  • Experience of MRP or ERP systems - ideally in an FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge/Experience using Microsoft AX (Dynamics), SQL Reporting, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to working/working in a team.
  • Ability to deliver clear and precise written and verbal communications and translate complex technical and/or business information in an understandable non-technical way.
  • Ability to manage expectations effectively across a wide variety of stakeholders and deliver difficult messages where necessary with tact.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and work to achieve buy-in for the right solution across functions & teams.
