Monmouth, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom EQUAL EDUCATION PARTNERS LTD Full time

We are working in partnership with Monmouthshire Council to source a Welsh Speaking Lead Teacher at a state-of-the-art school, with plans to extend the site year on year until 2032. You will have the opportunity to mentor and guide a team of educators, offering ongoing support to the staffing team as well as planning and delivering your own lessons.

The school aims to support a broader Strategic Plan with the Welsh Government to grow the demand for Welsh medium education across the county. This is your chance to have an influential impact on your local area, as well as inspiring the younger generation.

Your new school:

The new site will welcome pupils from Monmouth and the surrounding areas, initially offering full days for 3- and 4-year-olds in line with the school opening hours, 08:30 to 15:30. Following the next academic year, the school will have a CylchMeithrin which is able to provide childcare for 2-year-olds, with the nursery then reverting to part time sessions of 2 1⁄2 hours a day.

50-minute drive from Cardiff, 20 minutes from Newport and 30 minutes from Cwmbran.

Your responsibilities:

Develop and create a programme suitable for children ages 2-4, with the view for this to extend up to year 6.

Maintain a clean and tidy learning environment consistent with the Local Authority's standards.

Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities following the National Curriculum.
