Aspris is seeking a full-time Senior Administrator to enhance our dedicated education administration team.

Talocher School specializes in supporting young individuals aged 7 to 19 with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including those with an ASC diagnosis. With a current enrollment of 60 students, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and adaptable environment for those unable to thrive in mainstream education due to their unique learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

In the capacity of Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of administrative functions within the school. This includes overseeing the administration and catering teams.

Your team will handle various business administration tasks, encompassing payroll, finance, human resources, health and safety, transportation, and fleet coordination, with guidance from the Head Teacher and Regional Business Manager.

This position is dynamic and demanding, offering an opportunity for professional growth while making a significant impact on the lives of those we serve.

Primary Duties:

Supervise the administration and catering teams to guarantee high-quality administrative services and adherence to deadlines. Ensure the efficient functioning of administrative processes, prioritizing inquiries and issues appropriately. Mentor and support new or less experienced administrative personnel in their roles. Assist in developing and maintaining effective administrative systems, such as record-keeping and filing. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including site-based staff and central services (Finance, HR, Recruitment). Play a key role in the recruitment process by providing administrative support to managers, conducting pre-employment checks, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Maintain the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of personnel files and employment records in line with Group policy and legislation. Oversee financial administration, including invoice processing, petty cash management, transaction verification, and reconciliation in accordance with financial procedures. Manage local payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate updates to systems. Support the Regional Business Manager with daily administrative inquiries.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in leading administration teams with confidence in managing specific processes and tasks. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet the demands of the role and enhance the administration function. Strong multitasking skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle a diverse and busy workload. A track record of line management experience working with children and young people. Familiarity with payroll and human resource functions. Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in adapting to the needs of those we support. A proactive and positive attitude. Knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures.
