Warehouse Supervisor

A Warehouse Supervisor position is available in Ayr with a salary of £28,100 per year plus benefits. This role involves supporting the Shift Supervisor to effectively manage the department and meet daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

  • Rotating day shifts: 5am - 1pm and 1pm - 9pm

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehouse shift team in Ayr. Responsibilities include ensuring all inbound and outbound activities are carried out smoothly, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and controlling costs. Collaboration with other departments is crucial to ensure timely completion of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Shift Manager in achieving departmental objectives
  • Monitor and communicate the daily warehouse plan
  • Prepare the Warehouse Management System for optimal results
  • Provide feedback on team performance and compliance
  • Identify training needs and performance improvements
  • Assist in the absence of the Shift Manager
  • Ensure thorough induction training for new employees
  • Attend meetings to report on departmental performance
