Job Description VMA GROUP is proud to have partnered with Stonewall, one of the largest and most influential LGBTQ+ rights organisations in Europe, to recruit an interim Director of Communications to support its work during a critical stage in its evolution.

Stonewall's stated aim is for equality and acceptance for LGBTQ+ people in the UK and worldwide - a world where everyone, everywhere is free to be themselves.

As a trusted senior advisor, you'll bring strategic communications skill in spades and will blend clear thinking with the ability to advocate strongly, intellectually & always empathetically.

Your brief centres on working with the Trustees to deliver the charity's strategic objectives, vision & governance, ensuring that the voices of all communities it represents, and their allies, are heard in the decisions that it makes, with a particular focus on trans & BAME communities who have historically been excluded.

To do that successfully, you'll need to be a strong, visible and confident strategic leader, who is comfortable driving organisational performance and the continual development of Stonewall's culture, values and standards, both internally and externally
