Insurance Account Handler | Ilford | Office Based | Monday to Friday | From £30,000 depending on experience
Established in 1956, our client is a small, friendly and dynamic Insurance Brokers. They are based in the heart of Ilford with excellent transport links.
To succeed in this role, you will be highly organised with a minimum 2 years of personal lines and/or commercial broking or underwriting experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that boasts a vibrant and friendly working environment, with some staff members who have been with the company for over 15 years.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry and familiarity with associated software packages is preferred but not essential
- Ability to plan and organise, prioritise, making effective use of time and resources
- Ability to work within a team environment and to cooperate with team members thereby building effective working relationships
- Open GI preferred but not essential
What will your role look like?
- Dealing with new business enquiries and converting these
- Negotiating existing client renewals and midterm adjustments
- Reporting claims to insurers and assisting clients with the claims process
- Understanding the client's business and risk profiles
- Communicating the client's needs to underwriters
- Open GI software experience is preferred
- Document and maintain all procedures and processes that fall within your area of responsibility
