We have a brand new opportunity for an Events Assistant to join our Marketing and Sales team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide high quality administration and on-day, virtual and on-site event support to the firm's externally focused, client events and internally focused training events programmes.


With the Bristol office moving to our brand new building, Halo, early next year, this is a fantastic time to join the Events team.

Halo is a landmark green office building that will form the next phase of award-winning Finzels Reach.

It will be one of Bristol's most innovative office buildings with sustainability, technology and well-being placed right at the forefront.


This is a permanent role, based out of the Bristol office (with some homeworking too), and standard office hours of 9am to 5pm.

Due to the nature of an events based role, we will require someone with the flexibility to work early mornings and evenings on occasion to ensure successful delivery of the events programme.

Key Responsibilities
Following the appropriate training and guidance, the key responsibilities of the role will be split between supporting the firm's internal training and client events programme:

  • Creating webinars/virtual conferences across a range of software (On24//Microsoft Teams), uploading slides/resources/speaker profiles, co-ordinating tech training calls, sending out calendar appointments for virtual events
  • Recording training course and event information on schedules and calendars, ensuring all details are correct and up to date
  • Booking meeting rooms, catering and equipment etc.
  • Collating event and training course materials including badges, delegate packs, course materials, attendance registers etc.
  • Onsite event support including, meeting and greeting delegates for events and courses
  • Recording course and event attendance
  • Managing the teams stock of merchandise
  • Creating event lists on InterAction, setting up events on iPad check in system for on the day registration
  • Assisting the events team and wider sales and marketing team with any other duties that may be required from time to time.
