An exciting opportunity has become available to work with the medical therapy team between Brentwood Community Hospital and Basildon Hospital.

If you have experience working with patients in a healthcare setting this may be the job for you


Working alongside Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists you will be responsible for progressing patients mobility as well as undertaking exercise programmes and occupational therapy specific treatment programmes.

Th role involves working across the medical inpatient wards at Brentwood Community Hospital and Basildon Hospital if required.

Working alongside therapy staff you will liaise with the multi
- discilpinary team, attending board rounds and independently undertake the therapy treatment of appropriate patients as decided by the therapists on the wards.

The successful applicant will work in a clinical role delivering treatment and care to patients on a day to day basis.

Working closely with the qualified therapy staff patient focussed treatment plans will be decided and carried out independently as well as working jointly with therapists with patients requiring greater assistance
