PM Administrator:

    About
Nordex UK & Ireland team, headquartered in Manchester, undertakes sales, projects and service within the Northern Europe region.

Projects range from small contracts (small number of wind turbines where our responsibility is to supply and erect the turbines) to large, turn-key projects where Nordex is responsible for building the entire multi-turbine wind farm, inclusive of Civil and Electrical balance of plant works.

Projects range in value from £5m-£500m.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide coordination of functions for the Project Management Department
  • Onboarding and induction of new starters, both internal and external
  • Act as account manager with IT on equipment and accounts
  • Develop and maintain the reference & training materials for PM department
  • Identify and drive business improvement initiatives
  • SharePoint site develop and maintain
  • Scanning and filing documents accordingly
  • Maintaining folders/data/access permissions
  • Improve documentation from hard copy format to Edocuments
  • Develop archiving process
  • Maintain Purchasing inbox
  • Set up vendors & raise purchase orders on SAP
  • Monitor budget information & investigate vendor issues
  • Answer any invoice queries
  • Attend Mental Health Committee
  • Coordinate the regional Wellness Calendar and events
  • Act as a mental health first aider
  • Organize training & maintain records
  • Data inputting & collation
  • Weekly reporting
  • Monthly report tracking
  • Liaise with QHSE teams in reporting monthly contractor hours from site teams
  • Arrange couriers & investigate customs issues
  • Organize and coordinate team meetings and workshops
  • Sourcing suppliers/locations and arranging payments
  • Taking and issuing minutes of meetings
  • General ad hoc administrative duties
  • Format reporting from site teams and managers
  • Collate PowerPoint presentations for Management

Must have

  • SAP
  • Previous experience working in a project environment in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of H&S
  • Previous Viso experience
  • Knowledge of Mentimeter
