As Delivery Team Lead, your role will be to:

  • Oversee the quality of all projects being delivered by Beatfreeks, as well as our National Youth Trend subscription product
  • Manage the Delivery Team (specifically, Futurists, Project Managers and Designers)
  • Ensure delivery processes are efficient and fit for purpose, and are being used and adopted consistently across the team
  • Report on all project activity, including deadlines, external costs, internal time and project profitability
  • Bring a creative approach to developing our delivery approach, ensuring we're injecting creativity at each step
  • Act as an escalation point for project managers and clients.
  • We're looking for someone with experience in successfully managing multiple projects, or teams. You will thrive in a fastpaced, youthful environment, be a selfstarter, happy to get handson and have a high standard of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities

The role will entail:

  • Managing and taking accountability for the Beatfreeks
  • Delivery Team, which includes teams and individuals that carry out research projects, create digital & social content, develop insights products and work across creative disciplines inc. copywriting & design.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the quality, effectiveness and client satisfaction of the work we do.
  • Having oversight of all project budgets, timelines and risks across the Delivery Team, providing regular feedback and status updates internally to key stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the Leadership Team to proactively respond to client needs.
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring our National Youth Trends product is a highquality marketleading insights platform (working alongside the Managing Director & National Youth Trends Product Mgr).
  • Managing the people aspects of the Delivery Team (including being responsible for creating profile for new roles, being involved in hiring processes and line managing some team members).
  • Owning Delivery Team processes & practices (from scheduling/recording time to safeguarding)
  • Taking an innovative and creative approach to process optimisation and the way we deliver our work & projects.

(Experience of working in a creative, marketing or digital agency, an interest in research/insight-led work, knowledge of consents and data protection processes, digital know-how, and experience working with young people would be a real advantage)

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience of managing teams (creative or marketing agency experience would be a benefit)
  • Reporting and analytical skills
  • Experience of developing and managing an online platform, app or website (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to design processes and get teams to work with them
  • Experience of conducting market research, academic research and/or audience engagement projects
  • Track record of working, thinking and executing creatively
  • Resultsoriented
  • Proven ability to get the best out of others and make things happen
  • Curious mind, interested in the social and global affairs affecting 1635 year olds
  • Strong commercial focus gained in a client/customerfocused environment
  • Strong understanding of budgets and keeping financial records
  • Great problem solving skills
  • The highest level of written and verbal communication
  • Extremely well organised and able to work efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to set realistic but ambitious goals and reach them to the deadline
  • Motivated and able to deal with issues, bounce back and maintain a solutionfocussed approach
