Required to start as soon as possible and work until the end of April to assist with year end and audit.
We are looking for someone with solid management accounts experience and excellent Excel skills who is art qualified with good interpersonal skills.
The main duties will be:
- Working alongside the Financial Officer and Management Accountant
- Assisting with Management Accounts preparation.
- Daily Cash input to Opera from bank accounts.
- Assist with Credit Control function.
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Assist with collating Customs Import documents for our Dutch, Swedish and Irish VAT Returns and monthly EC Sales listing.
- Analysis of expenditure for audit and Corporation Tax purposes
- Assist with gathering backup for the Auditors to include copies of invoices, Proof of delivery etc.
- General Accounts tasks as necessary to support the small Accounts team.
Person Specification:
- Previous management accounts experience
- Ideally part qualified with good interpersonal skills
- Experience or an overview of the Credit Control function would be useful
- Previous experience and knowledge of VAT Returns would be useful
- Previous experience of a yearend audit would be very beneficial
- Opera experience is preferred but not essential.
- Must have excellent Excel skills to Pivot Tables if possible.
- Must be used to working in a team environment
- Experience of multitasking
- Excellent communication skills and proven attention to detail
