Kenneth Brian Associates Limited is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Sales and Purchase Ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

• Reconcile and submit VAT returns, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Reconcile bank accounts, trial balance accounts, and aged debtor and creditor records.

• Perform credit control and customer account status checks, ensuring timely payment and resolution of any issues.

• Manage banking operations, including daily reporting, beneficiary record setup, and payment creation.

• Process invoices, bank transactions, and journals, ensuring accurate data entry and reconciliation.

• Prepare and process payments, supplier ledger reviews, and aged creditor management.

• Produce monthly finance reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.

• Ensure data accuracy, update, and report on company finance and KPIs, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.

• Process monthly payroll and associated reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Manage pension processing and administration, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Update and maintain the asset register, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

• Provide timely updates on financial results, ensuring stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.

• Cover absence of Finance team members, providing seamless support and continuity.

• Present financial data to the Finance Director, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Provide general accounts customer service, ensuring excellent communication and support.

• Assist with annual stock take and stock reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

• Assist and train other finance team members, promoting knowledge sharing and development.

• Perform other necessary accounts duties, as required by the company.
