Children's Residential Support Worker

Hours
37.5 hours per week. Full and part time hours will be considered.

Salary

Starting salary potential £2
4,903 per annum

(£21,255 annual salary) + (£2,340 3 sleep in shifts per month) + (£1,308 enhancement for 40 weekend hours per month.)
- _Figures based on base salary of _£21,255 _per annum, working full time (37.5 hours per week) + £65 per sleep, calculated for three sleep in per month and 25% hourly enhanced pay for weekend shift. _

About the role

  • As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide a fun and nurturing environment giving young people the opportunity to experience a lasting sense of achievement and happiness.
  • Working as part of a residential care team you will provide support for individuals with their physical, health, emotional and social needs with an emphasis on promoting independence.
  • As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for administration of medication, daily reporting and personal care within morning and evening routines.
  • You will communicate effectively with parents and carers building positive relationships with families and other professionals.
  • Residential Support Workers may be required to assist with aspects of personal care, such as getting dressed and bathing.
