Your new role as a Mental Health PractitionerYou will be required to provide a thorough telephone-based assessment for patients contacting the Ambulance Service via the 111/999 systems, providing clinical triage to appropriate incidents, especially mental health incidents and where applicable, providehome management instructions to patients to discharge them from the services care, in line with the NHS PACCs triage system
What you'll need to succeed as a Mental Health Practitioner
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC pin
- Two years postregistration experience
- Experience working in settings such as Acute Inpatients, Crisis Teams, Emergency Department Liaison, Single Point of Access or within the Community
