An excellent interim opportunity has arisen for an organised administrator to join our Facilities team on an interim basis.

We're looking for a skilled administrator and someone who has past experience of working in a facilities support and administrative function.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an R&D or similar facility, with PPM and Reactive Maintenance experience.

Working in a small team, your role will be to ensure the smooth running of their activities across the site, as well as managing and co-ordinating communications with 3 rd party contractors, from job scheduling to ensuring necessary compliance documents are in place.

To be suitable you will need to be a good communicator with the ability to liaise with external and internal teams to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

You must have strong attention to detail with a pro-active and organised approach to your work.

We also expect experience of working with different databases, IT systems and scheduling software – training on the specific systems will be provided.

The core responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Scheduling external and on-site Contractors: ensuring all compliance checks are complete and documentation is in place including:
Risk assessments
Method statements
Public liability insurance
Service reports
Quotes
Repairs
Training certificates
Monitoring of KPIs and SLAs
~ Managing Permits to Work

In addition, you will be responsible for a range of other administrative tasks to support the team.
