Job Description

As a Proposals Product Specialist at LGIM, your role involves coordinating, creating, and delivering responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and other client-related inquiries, focusing on private markets to support our commercial goals. Key requirements:

  • Technical expertise in Private Markets
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Creativity and a thirst for knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, investment trends, and products

This position presents a unique opportunity to utilize your technical proficiency to establish and shape this new function.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing high-quality content to address queries from clients and prospects regarding LGIM's private markets capabilities.
  • Managing a pipeline for private markets RFP, RFI, and DDQ activities to meet commercial objectives effectively.
  • Evaluating proposal performance to extract insights for continuous enhancement.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders in the private markets segment to prioritize and execute proposals effectively.
  • Becoming the team's go-to expert on private markets, offering technical support on related products.
  • Ensuring consistency and effectiveness in private markets messaging in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Keeping the Qvidian library up-to-date with relevant private markets content.
  • Coordinating with various departments to maintain data quality in proposals content.

Supporting other enterprise-wide initiatives within the Proposals Content function, adhering to the highest editorial standards.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification (essential); willingness to pursue or already holding qualifications such as Investment Management Certificate (IMC), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and a solid grasp of investments, particularly in private markets
  • Prior experience in an asset management role is advantageous; familiarity with consultant databases is a plus
