Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior Events and AV Engineering Lead for an initial 6-month assignment to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite at a leading Global Bank.

One of many openings available at proAV (who have over 500 team members globally), this position is based within our end user's organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Event and AV Engineering Lead to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quickly gain and develop a full technical understanding of the new Events spaces.
  • Train EAAS staff and ensure the team are proficient and have no technical knowledge gaps in the support and maintenance of the Events space and integration.
  • Support the team as needed as SME of the space/s (no requirement to support the Events directly but must be flexible in supporting the team.

Levels 1, 2 and level 3 technical live events support and troubleshooting of these spaces working in collaboration with proAVs supporting departments.

  • Support the development of the Events Spaces and to highlight snags, outstanding issues and key improvements recommendations that may be required for day 2 works.
  • Complete a run book for the events spaces documenting SOPs, disaster recover documentation and RMA process for the inventory.
  • Manage incidents, track to resolution with proAV supporting teams, ensuring client and onsite personal are regularly updated.
  • Develop strong relationships with our client teams and supporting staff.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service at VIP and Stakeholder level, ensuring dress code is followed in accordance to the set standards.
  • Act as key decision maker and escalation contact in the event of incidents or failures.
  • Implementation of standard operating procedures identifying areas of improvement in workflows.
  • To be very presentable and an ambassador for ProAV with the ability to always liaise with senior executives in a calm and professional manner both face to face and via the telephone.
