We're on the hunt for a proactive Repairs & General Operatives Planner to manage the process of planning and scheduling of resources and materials. You'll be joining Futures at an exciting time of change for the Group offering a wealth of opportunities to our employees.

You'll be a relationship builder, working in partnership with General Operatives and Management, Customer Services and the People Team to ensure the delivery of an efficient, effective and progressive repairs and maintenance services across the group.

You'll use your skills and knowledge to recommend changes to the service implementing modern ways of working by ordering new products/technology and introducing processes to integrate these into the maintenance service.

You'll coordinate the day-to-day activities of the general team operatives, regularly reviewing resource requirements, approving holiday & absence requests and reacting to absence and personnel related concerns sensitively.

You'll be no stranger to reporting to management on costs of repairs/planned programme budgets in your delivery of an optimum repairs service.

A few key points from our role profile:

  • Report to management on costs of repairs/planned programme budgets and ensure that all financial matters are adhered to and the budget is maximised to deliver an optimum repairs service and Repairs Team income.
  • Monitor all outstanding and overdue jobs every week using standard reports from the performance team; to provide the Repairs Manager with information.
  • Maintaining close working relationships with Customer Services Team and team leaders to deliver a seamless, efficient repairs service.
  • Work in partnership with the Customer Resolution Officer to ensure customer complaints are dealt with in an efficient, fair and concise way.
