Sales Director required for a well-established organisation head-quartered in Birmingham.

Location:
Head office in Birmingham - hybrid working - must be willing to commute to Birmingham regularly


Salary:
Up to £80Kp/a plus excellent commission plus package


Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday (Full-time office hours)


You'll be responsible for expanding and enhancing the organisation's client base by sourcing and engaging new clients, winning new contracts with both the private and public sector.

You'll actively develop new business from a list of prospect clients, aswell as source your own new leads.

You'll initiate and develop relationships with prospective clients, identify client needs, secure sales appointments, deliver product demonstrations online, write proposals and negotiate sales to convert prospects into clients.

There will also be some account management of specific allocated clients.


Additionally, you'll be responsible for developing pricing, producing the GTM strategy, maintaining an awareness of competitors and their developing capabilities, as well as developing a deeper view of customer requirements to assist in shaping and specifyingdevelopments to support new products.

You'll also be responsible for the management and development of a small sales team.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Track record of working in new business development sales, ideally within a technologybased and / or data insight environment
  • Previous experience of developing sales within both B2B and Public Sector environments
  • Demonstrable understanding of public sector procurement process advantageous
  • Ability to communicate comfortably at Director level across public and private sectors
  • Previous experience of selling technology products / services advantageous
  • Demonstrable ability to build rapport at all levels with external and internal stakeholders
  • Highly developed strategic planning skills combined with strong organisational capabilities
  • Experience of writing sales proposals
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively
  • Confident IT skills including MS Office; experience of working with MS Dynamics CRM helpful but not essential
