We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join the team at this vibrant and award winning restaurant located in the heart of Shoreditch.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff members, providing guidance and support to achieve exceptional performance.
- Manage all aspects of staffing, including recruitment, training & development
- Maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation, working closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistency.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, while increasing profitability.
- Uphold and enforce health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Financial forecasting, budgeting & monitoring
- Foster a positive work culture, encouraging teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality, preferably in a casual dining environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, staff, and Head office
- Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and P&L analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a hands-on approach to resolving issues as they arise.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and an ability to maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
