We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and proactive senior care assistant to join our friendly team.

Full time or part time permanent hours available.

NVQ / Diploma Level 3 is advantageous. Full training will be given.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to elderly individuals in a compassionate and respectful manner
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship to promote emotional wellbeing
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the residents
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with elderly individuals
  • Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

£12.75 per hour
