Our client is an award-winning commercial insurance broker that prides itself on its family-oriented and friendly team culture.

Due to a recent period growth, they are seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their team and play a vital role in the next phase of their strategic growth plans.


Located in Darwen, the office has excellent transport links and on-site parking, making your daily commute as easy as possible.

As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Commercial Director having input on day-to-day matters and helping to drive the team forward.

In this role, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers. You'll take ownership of the policy lifecycle, from arranging and advising on new policies to renewals and mid-term adjustments.

You'll also be responsible for preparing reports, insurance documents, and presentations, managing the claims process on behalf of your clients, and ensuring compliance and efficiency with records management and client information handling.


To excel in this role, you'll need a proven sales track record, extensive experience of commercial insurance products, and a professional and consultative approach.

You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and possess impeccable time-management skills, with the ability to be solution-focused and think outside the box.

A driving licence and excellent customer service skills are essential.


Our client is open to discussion if there is a particular area of insurance you would like to introduce to the business, bringing a new dynamic to the role.


In addition to a competitive salary, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 28 days' annual leave (including bank holidays, which increase with service), access to discounts, private medical insurance upon completing probation, a pension scheme, on-site parking, a bonus scheme, a car allowance, and a mobile phone and laptop.

If you have a CII qualification and experience using Applied and Acturis, that's a bonus, but not essential.
