Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the group accounting consolidation of the Laser Group entitiesnDeveloping the optimal infrastructure for the general ledger, taking into consideration any Group reporting requirementsnKeeping up to date with changes in accounting standards, developing accounting policy and ensuring compliance with accounting policynOverseeing the development of the regulatory reporting framework and infrastructure for regulatory capital calculation requirementsnManaging the process for all the firm's expenses, including Travel & Entertainment and Accounts PayablenDesigning and implementing the automated expense processnRun the budget and forecasting processnHelping to negotiate with vendors and consolidating negotiating strength where possiblenDesign and implement automated management reporting framework and dashboards using BI tools such Tableau or Power BInEnsuring where necessary integration with Group management reporting requirementsnPrepare management reports and presentations

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Experience with US GAAP and group consolidation across multiple geographies. Regulatory reporting experience under a Basel capital framework is necessary. Also, familiarity with budgeting, financial planning and forecasting is essential.

Relevant experience in finance and accounting with a strong focus on investment banking and/or crypto assets.

US GAAP and group consolidation and financial reporting is necessary.nA strong understanding of Basel regulatory capital requirements and calculations, particularly as they apply to the banking or investment banking industry.

Experience with regulatory capital reporting software, such as AxiomSL, Moody's Analytics, or Wolters Kluwer, is also important.nStrong analytical and financial modelling skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience with accounting softwarenThe ability to work with a finance professional, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.nAble to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the overall business strategy of the organization.nCan communicate effectively with clients, other teams within the company, and external stakeholders is essential.

Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams is also important.

nCertifications:
Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) may be preferred
