Our client, requires a General Administration Assistant based at their site in Sutton Coldfield. Possible permanent position following a successful trial period. Duties include providing support to the Office Manager, Regulatory Affairs Manager & Directors, ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day business

Duties and responsibilities

  • Answering the telephone, including transferring calls, forwarding messages as necessary, dealing with enquiries from customers, completing orders over the telephone etc.
  • Assisting with Sales Order Processing UK & Export.
  • Filing of Sales Order documentation.
  • Deputise/cover when other members of the Office team are absent, ref cash book etc.
  • Investigation, preparation & raising credit notes etc.
  • Weekly/monthly reports to be printed off for Operations Director when required.
  • Running orders off extranet and invoicing orders when necessary.
  • Attending regular meetings with carriers regarding deliveries, procedures, and queries/complaints.
  • Preparing spreadsheets for Managers and Assistant Managers as required.
  • Maintaining training database.
  • Involve some digital marketing support.
  • Ensuring the safety of themselves and others through Health & Safety and Fire Regulations.
The package.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8.30 am to 5 pm Mon to Fri with 1 hour lunch and 8.30 am to 4 pm Friday with half an hour lunch
  • 37 hours per week
- £12.00 ph
