Our client develops and maintains enterprise-class products that contains many first-class features for the control and automation of packaging lines and related workflow.

Responsibilities


As a Driver Tester,you will play a varied role and will be exposed to the full lifecycle within an agile environment.


As part of the strategic software team, your focus will be on contributing to the next generation of core products targeting a global marketplace.


In this role, you will focus on enabling the driver development process, from communication with the manufacturer and specification of the driver's behavior down to testing device drivers, documentation, and troubleshooting.


The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy the challenges of applying mathematical and scientific investigation within the context of software programming and byte-level device communications.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • An interest in low-level device communications, and deciphering protocol from vendor documentation.
  • Enjoy working with a variety of software packages and devices/ equipment to determine strategies for network communications to develop drivers.
Beneficial

  • Experience in low-level device communications (TCP/RS232), embedded software, or firmware development.
  • Understanding of all stages of the development lifecycle
