Job Title: Applications Software Engineer (Digital Pathology)

Epredia, a global leader in providing solutions for cancer diagnostics, is dedicated to improving lives by enabling our customers to achieve diagnostic excellence.

We are looking for applications engineers who can support and implement application development and integration of patches from support collaborators. Applications specialize in high-speed digital imaging techniques and the user interfaces for scanning instruments, production test software, and investigative analysis.

The software is developed in C# and C++ and utilizes modern software development processes. This is a Hybrid opportunity with work at Runcorn UK on a business needs basis – average expected to be 10% per annum on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain applications software for digital pathology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate patches and updates
  • Design and implement user interfaces for scanning instruments and production test software
  • Develop and test software using C# and C++
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as BS EN 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or computer science discipline
  • Excellent C# and C++ programming skills
  • Experience with modern software development processes
  • Knowledge of Chromium Embedded Framework
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment
