Funeral Arranger
About Us
At Funeral Partners, we offer a sensitive, professional service to the families in our care, and we are leading the way in setting new standards of excellence within the profession.
The Opportunity
Douglas Mercer & Son Funeral Directors currently have a vacancy for a Casual Funeral Arranger, to work in our St Leonards branch.
Caring, and organised, our Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of our team; offering a warm welcome, and guiding our families through the whole funeral process.
As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time.
They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director, in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day.
Our Funeral Arrangers also help with organising our local community and charity activities, such as coffee mornings, charity walks, pub quizzes, and more.
Being a Funeral Arranger can be an opportunity to make a real difference during a difficult time for people, and there is a chance to progress into other roles such as Diary Manager, or Funeral Director, with the right skills and determination.
Come and join us, we will give you all the tools you need to be a success.
