HSE Manager Position at a Specialist Manufacturing Business in Newcastle upon Tyne

Jackson Hogg has teamed up with a specialist manufacturing company in the Newcastle upon Tyne area for an exciting HSE Manager position, wherein you will report directly to the HSE Director.

The ideal HSE Manager should possess extensive experience in manufacturing settings and must hold recognized HSE qualifications such as a NEBOSH General Certificate/Diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities of the HSE Manager include:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A recognized health and safety qualification like the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • A formal environmental qualification such as NEBOSH or IEMA Environmental Certificate
  • Membership in a professional body such as IOSH or IEMA
  • Prior work experience in manufacturing or construction environments
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others positively
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to various locations as needed
